Patrick Kelley cited for<br />
achievements<br />
Patrick Kelley ’78, president of Falco,<br />
Smith & Kelley, Ltd. Realtors, and<br />
Skip Weiler, president of the Robert<br />
Weiler Co., were honored by the Central<br />
Ohio Division of the March of Dimes<br />
at the 6th annual real estate awards<br />
luncheon in October at the Blackwell<br />
Inn. They were recognized for their<br />
accomplishments in real estate and<br />
for their service to the Columbus-area<br />
community.<br />
Kelley also is vice president of Donald<br />
W. Kelley & Associates, Inc. a real estate<br />
appraisal, consulting, and development<br />
firm. Many of his current and past<br />
community affiliations have been devoted<br />
to boosting education in the Columbus<br />
area.<br />
He is the founder of the <strong>St</strong>. Catharine<br />
<strong>School</strong> Partners in Education and serves<br />
on the development board of Bishop<br />
Hartley High <strong>School</strong>. He’s also on the<br />
development board of Alvis House and<br />
the board of <strong>St</strong>. Catharine Parish SPICE.<br />
Kelley is a past president of the board of<br />
the Salesian Boys & Girls Club.<br />
Kelley is a member of the Columbus<br />
Board of Realtors as well as the Columbus<br />
Commercial Industrial and Investment<br />
Realtors. He’s a member of the Ohio<br />
UNCF’s Midwest Office in Chicago.<br />
In addition, he has served<br />
as assistant vice president for<br />
development at Ohio <strong>St</strong>ate and<br />
as national director of corporate<br />
gifts for UNCF in Fairfax, Virginia.<br />
While working for Ohio <strong>St</strong>ate,<br />
Miller served on the <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Charles</strong><br />
Advisory Board.<br />
A member of Omega Psi Phi<br />
Fraternity Inc., Miller has had<br />
extensive experience in professional<br />
development that includes<br />
work with the Council<br />
for the Advancement and Support<br />
of Education, the University<br />
of Chicago, the Association of<br />
Fund Raising Officers, Inc.; the<br />
United Way of Central Ohio and;<br />
the Big Ten Development Officers<br />
Conference.<br />
Miller is currently on the board<br />
of the Association of Fundraising<br />
Professionals (AFP) Chicago<br />
Chapter, and co-chair of the<br />
diversity and fellows committee.<br />
He’s a board member of the<br />
Trinity Higher Education Corporation<br />
and chair of its program<br />
committee. He serves on the<br />
audience diversity and devel-<br />
opment committee of the Museum<br />
of Contemporary Art, and<br />
has served on the board of the<br />
Lakefront Supportive Housing;<br />
The Harvard <strong>School</strong> of Chicago;<br />
Prevent Blindness America and<br />
Prevent Blindness Ohio; the<br />
Columbus Speech & Hearing<br />
Center, and; as a member of<br />
the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning<br />
Commission.<br />
1976<br />
<strong>St</strong>ephen N. McVey, who works<br />
full time for IBM, reports he has<br />
taken on a part-time apostolate<br />
with the Lighthouse Catholic<br />
media. The group seeks to<br />
“live the mission of the Church<br />
as evangelizers with the use of<br />
CDs from great Catholic speakers<br />
of our time.”<br />
McVey works with parishes<br />
around the state (and some<br />
beyond) to make the CDs easily<br />
accessible in parish foyers,<br />
hallways, and church buildings.<br />
The organization also<br />
works with high schools to provide<br />
various CDs to fit into the<br />
school’s curriculum. You can<br />

J. Michael Reagan and his<br />
wife, Marietta, celebrated their<br />
25-year anniversary in April.<br />
He’s spent 23 years in corporate<br />
budgeting and financial<br />
planning and an additional four<br />
years managing a law firm.<br />
He writes that he’s a “devoted<br />
Catholic dedicated to the Franciscan<br />
spirit with an emphasis<br />
on ecumenism.”<br />
1974<br />
Jeffrey S. Adams generously<br />
donated his time and services<br />
to decorate the Robert C. Walter<br />
<strong>St</strong>udent Commons and the balconies<br />
of the <strong>St</strong>udent Services &<br />
Fine Arts Center for the school’s<br />
Silent Auction in December. He<br />
owns Adams Decorative Creation<br />
in Grove City.<br />

University, Kelley holds a undergraduate<br />
and master’s degrees in business<br />
administration from The Ohio <strong>St</strong>ate<br />
University. He and wife, Lisa, are<br />
members of <strong>St</strong>. Catharine Parish and<br />
reside in Bexley, Ohio. They have eight<br />
daughters: Erin (20), Beth, (17), Kate (15),<br />
Kara (13), Blaire (11), Mary (10), Abbie<br />
(7), and Colleen (5).<br />
Cardinal heritage<br />
The Hayes brothers got together in Jacksonville, Florida on the<br />
occasion of their brother Jeff’s retirement from active duty in the<br />
U.S. Navy. From left, Father Tim ’77, Jeff ’83, Dave ’85, Kevin ’86,<br />
<strong>St</strong>eve ’87, Bill ’91, and Dave’s son, Justin ’10. And what are they<br />
all up to? Dave reports: Tim is pastor of Blessed Sacrament in<br />
<strong>New</strong>ark; Jeff is a training consultant for avionics in Florida; Dave<br />
is a managing partner for Long Horn <strong>St</strong>eakhouse at Tuttle Crossing;<br />
Kevin is an agency manager for Schwebel Bread Company<br />
in Hilliard; <strong>St</strong>eve is in the Naval Reserves and works for the U.S.<br />
Postal Service; Bill is a project manager for Sarcom Co; and Justin<br />
