1. Upon the submission of the application of recruitment from abroad, the correct<br />

code of the occupation must be registered.<br />

2. Copies of the Occupational Specification and Classification are available at the<br />

Foreign Employment Section.<br />

3. In case of inability to get the required occupational code or to reconcile the name<br />

and the code, please refer to the Research and Labor Studies Section.<br />

4. The applicants or their representatives shall submit applications or delegates<br />

authorized by the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs.<br />

5. If the application is refused, they shall be informed by mail of the reasons of such<br />

refusal.<br />

Application Submission Times<br />

Applications may be submitted daily from 7:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.<br />

Procedures for Submitting Applications and the Required Attachments<br />

Recruitment Applications for expatriates (non-<strong>Bahrain</strong>is) for <strong>Commercial</strong> Establishments:<br />

1. Complete the recruitment application form.<br />

2. Provide a copy of the commercial registration.<br />

3. Provide a copy of the CPR (national identity card) of the applicant or his<br />

representative with a copy of the official authorization.<br />

4. Attach agreements, contracts, and licenses that show the size of work.<br />

5. Provide a copy of the social insurance inventory if establishment employs ten<br />

workers or more.<br />

6. Establishments employing less than ten workers shall employ at least one<br />

<strong>Bahrain</strong>i.<br />

7. If there is a difference between the Ministry's information and the social<br />

insurance inventory concerning the number of employees, a certificate will be<br />

requested from Immigration.<br />

8. When applying for substitution, a certificate of departure will be requested.<br />

9. The last electricity bill paid, or the bills of the last two months, must be submitted.<br />
