• Two nights give you time to explore Bangkok, a city brimming<br />
with life and color in ornate Buddhist temples, flower markets,<br />
floating markets, silk and jewelry shops, and nonstop nightlife.<br />
Tour the Grand Palace compound and Wat Pho, and don’t<br />
miss the optional Land Discoveries visit to the ancient<br />
temples of Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.<br />
• An overnight stay in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of<br />
Halong Bay lets you explore breathtaking islands and karsts,<br />
with a second day to visit Hanoi’s temples, Chinatown, and<br />
guild shops tucked into bustling French-colonial Old quarter<br />
streets.<br />
• In Ho Chi Minh City, explore history at the Presidential<br />
Palace, the Vietnam History Museum, and the Ho Chi Minh<br />
Mausoleum. Or take a tour along the Mekong Delta waterways,<br />
meeting local villagers and farmers. Fill up on a bowl of<br />
steaming pho, a traditional noodle soup.<br />
The 17-night voyage also includes:<br />
• An overnight in neon-lit Victoria Harbour, where you can<br />
watch the famous Symphony of Lights.<br />
• A day on Ko Samui, a lush tropical island of white beaches<br />
and turquoise waters.<br />
• An overnight in Da Nang with time to tour two UNESCO<br />
World Heritage Sites: the Nguyen Dynasty temples and<br />
palaces of Hue, and the charming village of Hoi An. join us for<br />
a bike ride through brilliant green rice fields, meeting local<br />
residents in nearby villages. A visit to historic China Beach is<br />
