Don’t miss this opportunity to sail japan’s inland sea! Start<br />
with a night under the jeweled lights of Victoria Harbour<br />
before sailing to xiamen, an ancient seaport where colonial<br />
life and traditional Chinese crafts can be found on Gulangyu<br />
Island. Our voyage takes us up the Shanghai River to dock<br />
near the historic Bund, with easy access to Shanghai’s ancient<br />
and modern marvels. Rise early for the beautiful view as<br />
we sail into the Bay of Kagoshima with its stunning volcano,<br />
salt baths and hot springs. With an overnight stay in Kobe,<br />
you’ll have time to explore the temples, shrines, palaces and<br />
gardens of Kyoto, a city brimming with incredible UNESCO<br />
World Heritage Sites. A full day in japan’s enclosed inland sea<br />
offers continually changing landscapes as we navigate beneath<br />
bridges, past cities and small towns, and through narrow<br />
straits between wooded islands. A day in bustling Seoul is<br />
followed by a restful day at sea before arrival in xingang,<br />
gateway to Tianjin and Beijing.<br />

Arrive early in Beijing for an optional Cruisetour including the<br />
Great Wall, Forbidden City, and terra cotta warriors of xian.<br />
From Inchon, tour the DMz or head to Seoul’s sprawling<br />
Noryangjin Fish Market for an astounding variety of fresh fish<br />
and a colorful local scene. In Busan, don’t miss an optional Land<br />
Discoveries ® excursion to jinhae. If our timing is right, we’ll be<br />
there as more than 3,000 cherry trees burst into bloom. Explore<br />
the contrasts between Nagasaki, with its beautiful Glover Garden<br />
and powerfully moving Peace Museum, and Shanghai, with its<br />
big-city energy, famous Bund, and bronze collection. Your voyage<br />
ends with two nights to explore Hong Kong’s great sites,<br />
shopping and incredible cuisine. As night falls, you’ll be dazzled<br />
by your view of Hong Kong’s famous light show.<br />
