Demigryph (see Engineers of Nuln for details). Certain units listed below with a + are instead selected from Warhammer Forge: Throne of Chaos; Warhammer Armies: Dwarfs, Ogre Kingdoms or Orcs and
THE BEST FORM OF FLATTERY: Units highlighted in bold red are taken from Warhammer Armies: The Empire. However, these are facsimiles or imitations of their Empire equivalents and
although constructed to a high standard are still not as reliable as the originals. Units highlighted in bold red in the above army list provide any enemy unit they directly wound (but not to any assistance
to wound such as giving a bonus to hit) a 6+ ward save as there is that small chance that an imperfection in their design might impair their performance. Units that already receive a ward save instead
gain +1 to that ward save (to a maximum of 3+).
The Duchess is the matriarch of a powerful trading company operating from Marienburg. She is ruthless in her business
dealings and always gets what she wants even if it requires methods outside the law. She is a seductress and if necessary
a killer. Over the years she has learnt all there is to know about the various toxins and deadly poisons that exist in the world
and many a difficult negotiation has been concluded over a glass of wine...
Tea with the Duchess: The Duchess makes sure that many of her entourage’s weapons are coated in a special lethal blend of
plant extract that the Marienburg Trading Co. discovered in the jungles of Lustria. All attacks made by hand weapons in the
army gain the poisoned special rule.
The Po-Fan: The Duchess returned from her sojourn to Cathay carrying what appeared to be a pair of serrated fans. These
magical weapons allow the Duchess to make killing blow poisoned attacks in combat. If when rolling to hit the Duchess
misses with all of her attacks, the spirits inside the fan deem her unworthy and the Po-Fan may not be used for the rest of
the game.
