Keep Your Drive (KYD)<br />
This solution based service option compliments the warranty upgrades and allows users to keep their hard drive<br />
or system disk to secure their data in case of any failure. If the customer’s hard drive fails, they can retain<br />
the failed drive and <strong>Lenovo</strong> will provide a replacement hard drive (under the terms of the <strong>Lenovo</strong> warranty for<br />
selected <strong>Lenovo</strong> machines). The non-return hard drive service is advisable everywhere where protecting critical<br />
data is important to the business. It eliminates the need for tracking failed drives in transit and the associated<br />
paperwork, giving IT staff the time to concentrate on mission-critical business activities. <strong>Lenovo</strong>’s KYD covers<br />
multiple drives in a system and multiple failures (some server systems can have as many as 12 hard drives).<br />
