5.2.2 Using POSS: How to specify print options using POSS [by the User]<br />

1. Follow the normal procedure for printing, from <strong>SAP</strong>script or SmartForms.<br />

2. On the Print Parameters dialog, press the button labeled "Additional Options".<br />

Note that this button does not exist unless the Output Device specified refers to a POSS-enabled Device type.<br />

(See the screenshot below.)<br />

This will show all POSS Options and their currently selected Values.<br />

3. For each Option to be changed:<br />

Double-click the Option.<br />

At "Option Value" select or specify the desired Value.<br />

Note that:<br />

- Disabled Options are not listed at all.<br />

- Disabled Values of an Option are not listed at all.<br />

- If a Value is preselected for an Option, the entire Option is tagged as "Option Value is locked by Administrator" and appears greyed<br />

out.<br />

4. When done, press the [OK] button.<br />

<strong>The</strong> following screen shows the additional button "Additional Options" on the Print Parameters dialog, which is only shown when the Output<br />

Device specified refers to a POSS-enabled Device Type.<br />

When you click the "Additional Options" button, the following screen "Edit Print Options" will appear.
