ifto, In bailable <strong>of</strong>fences, the <strong>of</strong>fender may apply for<br />

and be admitted to bail as soon as the examination is<br />

concluded, and the amount there<strong>of</strong> shall be at the direc-<br />

tion <strong>of</strong> the Judge, agreeably to the statute 39, Geo. III.<br />

cap. 49,<br />

5/0, All complaints shall be made either in writing,<br />

or in printed forms, having the names <strong>of</strong> the parties and<br />

grounds <strong>of</strong> complaint filled up in writing, in as few words<br />

as possible.<br />

6to, The judgement shall be ingrossed upen the complaint,<br />

and subscribed by the Judge.<br />

77770, Where the case is not determined at the first<br />

hearing, the party complained upon may be committed<br />

to jail, kept in custody, admitted to bail, or appointed to<br />

appear at the after hearings, according as the circum-<br />

stances <strong>of</strong> the case may require.<br />

Svo, The Clerk to keep an exact list <strong>of</strong> all the cases<br />

determined, with an abstract-<strong>of</strong> the sentences.<br />

9720, The complaints and Judgements thereon to be<br />

kept as a Record in terms <strong>of</strong> the Act, and certified<br />

copies to be given by the Clerk, either wholly in writ-<br />

ing or partly printed.<br />

iomo, When sentence is pronounced, execution is<br />

to follow in terms <strong>of</strong> the Act.<br />

1 IW70, When the party <strong>of</strong>fending is absent, and no bail<br />

found, warrant may be granted upon the complaint to<br />

apprehend him and bring him before the Judge to answer<br />

to the matters therein contained, as also to summon<br />

witnesses, and if the witnesses fail to attend, a<br />

second warrant to be granted for apprehending and<br />

detaining them till examined, or till caution is found<br />

for their appearance.<br />

i2mo, If the Judge shall deem it unnecessary or improper<br />

to grant warrant for apprehension, l.e may grant<br />

warrant to summon the <strong>of</strong>fender to appear at an appointed<br />

time, and oa his failing to attend, may then either
