This beautiful series of Rhododendron hybrids comes from Helsinki, Finland. Dr. Peter Tigerstedt used a very tough Korean species to produce what
may well be the best large leaf Rhododendron for Minnesota to date. They like moist, rich, well-drained, acidic soil and protection from winter sun. Need
mid-day shade in summer. With Rhododendrons, larger leaves indicate less sun tolerance.
