Wonderful woodland plant preferring moist, shady places rich in organic matter. Excellent for a shady perennial border or naturalizing. Plants bloom
from early to late summer on tall stems with rounded button head flowers cupped with colorful star-shaped bract. Excellent as cut flowers.
