Ted B. Tobin | Principal<br />
Ted brings over 20 years <strong>of</strong> real estate experience and is currently the Director<br />
<strong>of</strong> Acquisitions and Development at K.S.S. Realty <strong>Partners</strong>/K.S.S. Investments,<br />
promoting and negotiating all aspects <strong>of</strong> the development agenda<br />
with integrity.<br />
Experience<br />
Director <strong>of</strong> Acquisitions & Development, K.S.S. Realty <strong>Partners</strong> / K.S.S. Investments: Sheppard<br />
each project through various permit granting authorites (PGAs), including planning boards, zoning<br />
board <strong>of</strong> appeals, conservation commissions, as well as various boards’ commissions, which promote<br />
the general health and well being <strong>of</strong> the communities in which the project lies. Duties include<br />
due diligence, property management as well as financial, market and legal analysis. These duties require<br />
close working relationship with public <strong>of</strong>ficials, public agencies, architects, engineers, licensed<br />
site pr<strong>of</strong>essionals, attorneys, financial institutions and various third party consultants.<br />
• Maxwell’s Green: 199 Units in <strong>Somerville</strong>, MA located on a former brownfield re-zoned as<br />
Planned Unit Development and achieved special permit. This development is currently 95%<br />
complete and met all criteria for a smart growth & transit oriented development. Received TOD<br />
grant and brownfields loan.<br />
• Maspenock Woods: Obtained special permit for the development <strong>of</strong> 31 townhomes in Hopkinton,<br />
MA.<br />
• Lafayette Tides: Achieved permits via Mass General Law 40-B statute for this 45-unit residential<br />
development in Marblehead, MA.<br />
• Marco Commons: Assisted and independent living complex consisting <strong>of</strong> 120 - 140 units in<br />
Marco Island, FL, designed to provide a luxurious living environment and a continuum <strong>of</strong> healthcare<br />
services for its residents. The independent living units will be owned by the residents with<br />
amenities normally provided in a resort or private Country Club, but in the context <strong>of</strong> an exclusive<br />
senior living community.<br />
Investment Broker, Nordblom Company | Burlington, MA: In September <strong>of</strong> 1999, Tobin Real<br />
Estate merged projects and brokerage contracts with the premier multi-family brokerage group in<br />
Massachusetts. Retained Rights to Tobin Real Estate.<br />
• Established and maintained relationships with REITs, developers and owners <strong>of</strong> large apartment<br />
communities in order to create real estate brokerage and development opportunities.<br />
• Located land suitable for multi-family development.<br />
• Created Nordblom’s multifamily signature Picture Mailing marketing campaign.<br />
Owner Operator, Tobin Real Estate | Scituate, MA: As owner and licensed broker, Mr. Tobin was<br />
