Grandparents’ & Special Friends’ Day
6 | ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE VIM Issue 1 2011
On Friday, 25th February, Grandparents and Special Friends joined
Year 5 and Year 8 students for a day at school. This was an opportunity
for students to share their school experience with someone close to
them whom they may not get to see on a regular basis.
The programme of events included a tour of the school for the Year
8 visitors, an sssembly presentation for Year 5 guests, class activities,
musical performances, a PE lesson, computer technology and a Chapel
service.
It was a pleasure to have so many delightful guests visit our College.

Open Day a big success
All Saints’ had a very
successful Open Day on Friday,
25th March, with a large number
of students and parents coming
to meet with us and tour the
classrooms and grounds.
Talented music students from
the senior choir, senior strings,
chamber choir and members of
the Year 10 elective music class
performed on the day under the
excellent stewardship of our
music teachers - Mrs Frances
McLeod, Mr Jason Buckley and Mr
Joe Panganiban.
A terrific display of animals from
our thriving agriculture programme
kept the children entertained during
our afternoon tea.
This was the first Open Day
All Saints’ has held for a number
of years and we were delighted
with the level of interest from both
potential day students and boarders.
