Dedicated to the Culture of Life - Holy Ghost Catholic Church

As we labor to preserve the sanctity of Life in our world, may we
look to this meeting of Jesus and Mary to strengthen us. Though
the forces of evil seem overwhelming, and the work required
difficult, may we be ever willing to struggle on, to suffer with
Christ, to not be afraid, and to say “be it done...according to thy
word.” We pray that mothers, who are feeling helpless and hopeless,
who are afraid, and who are considering abortion, may also
meet Jesus along the way, and through the intercession of Mary,
choose Life for their precious unborn child.
All: (kneel) Deliver me from my enemies, O my God, protect
me from those who rise up against me, deliver me from those
who work evil, and save me from bloodthirsty men. O my
Strength, I will sing praises to thee; for thou, O God, are my
fortress. My God in his steadfast love will meet me; my God
will let me look in triumph on my enemies. But I will sing of
thy might; I will sing aloud of thy steadfast love in the morning.
For thou has been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day
of my distress. O my Strength, I will sing praises to thee, for
thou, O God, art my fortress, the God who shows me steadfast
love. (Psalm 59: 1-2, 9-10, 16-17)
