Fashion Show and Silent Auction Update
Information packages regarding the Fashion Show and Silent Auction will be sent
home the week of February 6-10. Included in this package is an update on the
Fashion Show/Silent Auction, information on photos, a copy of the donation letter
for silent auction items and a volunteer sign-up sheet. The sign-up sheet needs to
be returned to the school by February 21. As you know, the Fashion Show and
Silent Auction is our major fundraiser of the year. This event is as important as it
is fun. We are calling on all families to help make this event a huge success.
Thank you to the families and staff who have already offered to help out.
Student committee members have started making arrangements with clothing sponsor stores. Thanks to
these students for their hard work and leadership in this area.
Tickets for the Fashion Show/Silent Auction will be sent home with
band students near the end of February or early March.
Items and donations for the Silent Auction can be brought in at anytime.
We need to have donations in by Tuesday, April 10.
There will be an important Parent Band Association meeting on
Tuesday, February 21 at 6:30 pm in the band room. The main
focus will be to update the planning of the Fashion Show and Silent
Auction. All band parents are encouraged to attend.
Upcoming Events
March 5 – Jr. High Bands, Edmonton Symphony Orchestra concert, Winspear.
Funds for this field trip were already collected in November. New permission slips will be sent home the
week of February 6-10.
March 22 – Sr. High Band, District Celebration of Arts Winspear Performance
