and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chancellor be and hereby is authorized
and directed to express appreciation, where appropriate, for and on behalf of
the District; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that with respect to federal grants for work-study
programs, the Agency involved will be billed for matching funds and for
Social Security; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the appropriate Officer of the Board or
District be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute contracts with
said agencies in each instance.
INSURANCE
Approval of Insurance Renewals
On motion by Dr. Ordinachev, the Board unanimously approved renewal of
various insurance agreements and policies, all as more fully set forth in
Exhibit H attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS, CONTD.
Chancellor’s Report
Dr. Harris applauded the college on an extremely successful graduation ceremony
and commended the Leadership Team and faculty for increased faculty
participation.
Dr. Harris then announced that both the House Bill 191 signing by Governor Jay
Nixon at the Forest Park Campus and the Harrison Center Groundbreaking went
well. She added that she was pleased to have Trustees participating in the ribbon
cutting at the Bio Research and Development Growth Park located in the Danforth
Plant and Science Center.
Dr. Harris advised the Board that the College served as a title sponsor for the St.
Louis Business Journal Legislative Awards and that congratulatory letters were
sent to Senators and Representatives who received awards.
