Troubleshoot<strong>in</strong>g<br />

IMPORTANT: If your w<strong>in</strong>e cab<strong>in</strong>et appears not to be<br />

operat<strong>in</strong>g properly, before contact<strong>in</strong>g the Customer<br />

Care Department, please refer to the checklist<br />

below.<br />

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE<br />

The w<strong>in</strong>e cab<strong>in</strong>et will not operate. The appliance is not plugged <strong>in</strong>.<br />

The appliance is turned off.<br />

The circuit breaker tripped or a fuse has<br />

blown.<br />

The w<strong>in</strong>e cab<strong>in</strong>et is not cold enough. Check the temperature sett<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

The external environment may require a<br />

lower temperature sett<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

The door is opened too frequently.<br />

The door is not closed completely.<br />

The door gasket does not seal properly.<br />

The appliance automatically turns on and<br />

off frequently.<br />

The room temperature is hotter than<br />

normal.<br />

A large amount of contents have been<br />

added to the w<strong>in</strong>e cab<strong>in</strong>et.<br />

The door is opened too frequently.<br />

The door is not closed completely.<br />

The temperature control is not set<br />

correctly.<br />

The door gasket does not seal properly.<br />

The light<strong>in</strong>g does not work. The appliance is not plugged <strong>in</strong>.<br />

The circuit breaker tripped or a fuse has<br />

blown.<br />

The light is turned off.<br />

Too much vibration. Check to ensure the appliance is level.<br />

Check to ensure that no parts <strong>in</strong>side of<br />

the cab<strong>in</strong>et or <strong>in</strong> the compressor<br />

chamber are loose.<br />

The w<strong>in</strong>e cab<strong>in</strong>et seems to make too<br />

much noise.<br />

The rattl<strong>in</strong>g noise may come from the<br />

flow of the refrigerant which is normal.<br />

As each cycle ends, you may hear<br />

gurgl<strong>in</strong>g noises caused by the flow of<br />

refrigerant.<br />

Contraction and expansion of the <strong>in</strong>side<br />

walls may cause popp<strong>in</strong>g and crackl<strong>in</strong>g<br />

noises.<br />

The appliance is not level.<br />

The door will not close properly. The appliance is not level.<br />

The door was reversed and not properly<br />

<strong>in</strong>stalled.<br />

The door gasket is dirty.<br />

The shelves are out of position.<br />

“HH” or “LL” appear on the display and a<br />

cont<strong>in</strong>uous buzz noise can be heard.<br />

The temperature probe is out of order.<br />

When this happens, the appliance is<br />

designed to keep periodical runn<strong>in</strong>g of<br />

the compressor and fan to help ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong><br />

the coldness <strong>in</strong>side the cab<strong>in</strong>et to protect<br />

your w<strong>in</strong>es. To avoid ru<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g your w<strong>in</strong>es<br />

it is strongly recommended to have the<br />

appliance repaired immediately as the<br />
