License Plate!!!<br />

There are five new license plate designs available from the Department<br />

of Licensing (DOL). These license plates are available for cars, trucks,<br />

motorcycles, and trailers. Each license plate(s) purchase will cost $40 in<br />

addition to regular vehicle licensing fees, and $30 in conjunction with your<br />

vehicle renewal fee. A total of $28 from the sale of each plate purchase will be<br />

deposited into the State Wildlife Fund and will be spent on the following:<br />

Deer, Elk, and Bear Plates Support:<br />

Habitat improvements, population enhancements, and improved population monitoring for game animals.<br />

Eagle Plates Support:<br />

Working with communities and organizations to develop or improve watchable wildlife opportunities.<br />

Orca Plates Support:<br />

Endangered species population and habitat restoration and recovery.<br />

To find information on ordering your plate(s), contact your local vehicle licensing<br />

office. To locate your local licensing office please visit the following website:<br />

You can change your existing plate to one of the new special designs anytime,<br />

however, the DOL highly recommends that you renew you vehicle registration<br />

at the same time you purchase your new special license plate. When you<br />

renew your vehicle registration, you will be required to pay an additional<br />

$30.00 for the special plate renewal every year with your vehicle renewal.<br />
