Volunteers Needed!
EITW is a non-profit organization committed to recruiting, educating, organizing, and deploying citizen volunteers to assist the WDFW in fish, wildlife and habitat
conservation and protection projects. We are expanding our efforts each-year to provide more opportunities for volunteer participation to assist the agency. Help us
grow; we need volunteers in leadership roles within each program. Join the EITW family tree network; contact the Program Director in the area of your interest.
Beginning in July 2010 we will be offering the basic WDFW Volunteer Orientation & Safety Training (VOST) class prior to some of the CORT classes. The VOST
class is required every two-years for WDFW volunteers. Check the EITW Calendar for class listings or contact the Training Coordinator in your area!
The EITW Wildlife Program has several projects in WDFW’s Region 6. Vail and Williams Creek check stations are a valuable tool for wildlife management; assisting
in the collection of biological data of our deer and elk populations, the Anderson Homestead enhancement project and the NE Olympic Elk project need volunteers
