My name is Lisbett. I ’ m 12
and live in Dorchester. I want
a Big Sister so I have
someone to talk to who
will be a good role model. If
I could change one thing in
the world it would be all the
violence. I hope my Big Sister
likes animals and we can go
to the aquarium or the zoo!
My name is Jourdan. I am 14 and
I live in Mattapan. I’d describe
myself as different, and mature.
I have friends, but all they want
to do is socialize. I want a Big
Sister so we can go to an art
class, go to a cafe and talk,
or take a martial arts class
together. I hope my Big Sister
can speak lots of different
languages and teach me, too.

My name is Kira. I’m 15 years old and
live in South Weymouth. If I could have any
three wishes they would be to have $1 million,
have a house my mom can get around in easily,
and go to college. If I could change anything
it would be that there would be no more
murder. I hope my Big Sister will pay
attention and listen to me, and will be fun.
My name is Lydia. I’m 14 and live in Roxbury.
When I grow up I want to be a doctor that
travels to different parts of the country
to help people in need. If I had three wishes
they would be to have one million more wishes,
to make every disease in the world go away and
to make global warming go away. I hope my Big
Sister will be fun and like to laugh - like me!
