My name is Layla. I’m 12 years old and live in
Dorchester. I want to be a judge or a teacher when I
grow up, maybe both! I want a Big Sister because my
brother passed away and sometimes I need time away
from my house. I can’t wait to meet my Big Sister
and spend lots of time together with her.

grandmother. I am an
artist and a singer and
I’d like to have a Big
Sister who can speak my
language, the creative
language.

years old and I live in Hyde
Park. If I could change
anything in the world, people
wouldn’t litter so much, and
would help the elderly more.
I want a Big Sister who is
athletic, likes to do arts and
crafts, and likes dogs.
Big Sister plans to serve
nearly 3,000 girls in 2011.

everything about school - especially science - and want
to be a doctor when I grow up. I love to paint, dance, and
go to the beach. I want a Big Sister so I have someone
to hang out with when my mom is gone. I hope she is fun,
likes to watch movies, and will help me learn English.

with my grandparents. There aren’t a lot of
kids in my neighborhood, so I would like a Big Sister.
