UTP cable video transmission system
The Video-Balun devices (Balanced-Unbalanced) work with twisted pair UTP CAT5
cables for the transmission of the video signal.
The big advantage of this kind of transmission is the increased installation distances
(max. 3000 m.), use of a common CAT5 cable, possibility of transmitting 4 video signals
through only one cable, protection against lightening and electromagnetic induction.

Balun passive TX/RX video pair.
Passive balun videos (without signal amplification) adapt the impedance between coax
and UP cable. They are particularly suitable for transmitting and receiving video signals
(either black and white or colour) on UP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) wires. The signal
transmitted on the UTP CAT5 cable by this device is balanced and equally split
on the twisted pair thus making transceiving more protected from interference
with respect to traditional transceiving on a coaxial cable.
