UTP cable video transmission system
The Video-Balun devices (Balanced-Unbalanced) work with twisted pair UTP CAT5
cables for the transmission of the video signal.
The big advantage of this kind of transmission is the increased installation distances
(max. 3000 m.), use of a common CAT5 cable, possibility of transmitting 4 video signals
through only one cable, protection against lightening and electromagnetic induction.
Easy to install at affordable price, the Urmet Domus Video Balun range is the ideal solution
for every type of systems
1092/300
Balun passive TX/RX video pair.
Passive balun videos (without signal amplification) adapt the impedance between coax
and UP cable. They are particularly suitable for transmitting and receiving video signals
(either black and white or colour) on UP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) wires. The signal
transmitted on the UTP CAT5 cable by this device is balanced and equally split
on the twisted pair thus making transceiving more protected from interference
with respect to traditional transceiving on a coaxial cable.
- Compact dimensions for rapid connection to video management apparatuses,
monitors and cameras.
- 1 BNC video input and terminal board for connecting to UTP CAT5 wire
- Very easy to use
- No power needed
- Double impedance and interference filter for ensuring better protection from interference.
- Pair of transceivers included
1092/301
Balun passive TX/RX video pair with power unit.
Passive balun videos (without signal amplification) with remote camera power connectors
adapt the impedance between coax and UP cable. They are particularly suited
for transmitting and receiving video signals (either black and white or colour)
and remotely powering on UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) wire. The video signal
transmitted on the UTP CAT5 cable by this device is balanced and equally split
on the twisted pair thus making transceiving more protected from interference
with respect to traditional video transceiving on a coaxial cable.
- Compact dimensions for rapid connection to video management apparatuses,
monitors and cameras.
- 1 BNC video input and RJ45 connector for connecting to UTP CAT5 wire
- Very easy to use
- No power needed by the device
- Remote power input/output
- Double impedance and interference filter for ensuring better protection from interference.
- Pair of transceivers included
1092/302
Active balun video transmitter (1 channel).
Active balun video transmitters (with signal amplification) adapt the impedance between
coax and UP cable. They are particularly suitable for transmitting video signals (black
and white or colour) on UP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) wires on distances further than
1200 metres. Suitable for use with active receivers 1092/303, 1090/304 or 1092/316.
- Compact dimensions for rapid connection to video management apparatuses,
monitors and cameras.
- 1 BNC video input (female) and terminal board for connecting to UTP CAT5 wire
- Very easy to use
- Signal amplification gain level adjustment and three-level signal transmission.
- Double impedance and interference filter for ensuring better protection from interference.
- Ready to be wall-mounted.
- Power 12Vdc - max 80 mA (power unit not included).
