Even with a system perfectly in order, peace of mind can nev-
er be sufficient, not least because carbon monoxide (CO) is an
extremely toxic, highly dangerous gas.
And since it has no odour it cannot be detected by people, un-
less its grave consequences become evident, even when in-
haled in small concentrations.
Which is why Urmet has developed a range of safe and func-
tional gas detectors. Urmet detectors use one of the most
modern construction technologies, based on the highest qual-
ity semiconductor sensors, able to offer high levels of reliabil-
ity and precision.
To guarantee effective safety, the gas leaks detector must be
combined with a solenoid valve that can interrupt the gas flow
when there is an alarm. Urmet therefore provides kits com-
plete with methane gas or GPL detectors, together with a so-
lenoid valve and adaptors for its installation.

TITANO MET Methane Gas Detector.
The device is fitted with a buzzer for the acoustic alarm and 3 LEDs for signalling
alarm status, detector active and sensor failure.
A pushbutton has been fitted for test functions and for silencing the buzzer.
Watertight relay alarm output capable of direct solenoid valve control both at 230
VAC and 12 VCC, normally open or normally closed. Autodiagnostics circuit for
checking correct sensor functioning. Acoustic and visual signalling for detector
replacement after 5 years of useful life.
