old burial ground at her brother's.

age 56 yrs. s/o Isaac Shuler of Shenandoah, Va. died at his home in Omaha, Nebraska on Thursday.
He left Page Co. about 25 yrs. ago. Besides his wife and father he is survived by one sister,
Mrs. Virginia Petefish, Norfolk and two children, Miss Virginia, aged 16 and Bobbie,
aged about 8 yrs. Burial in Omaha.

age 75 yrs. died at the Harrisonburg hospital last Saturday. Born in Rockingham Co. Deceased
daughter, Mrs. Ottie Sedwick. Widow is a d/o the late Reuben Walton of Newport. Children,
Charles Shuler of Martinsburg, WV., Mrs. Edith Pence w/o Clarence Pence of Reliance, Va.
Interment in Green Hill Cemetery in Luray.

age 69 yrs. died Wednesday night at Grove Hill, Va. w/o G. Thomas Shuler. Her heart was affected
& a gangrenous trouble developed during the latter part of her illness. Surviving - her
husband, & the following children - Prof. J. Michael Shuler of Grove Hill, Dr. B. C. Shuler of
Shenandoah, Bertha Strouble of New Jersey & Elmer Shuler of Grove Hill. Father, John P.
Foltz (decd.). She was born at the present home of her brother C. Hubert Foltz near Newport.
Her mother prior to marriage was Eliza Koontz, a sister of Isaac, Alfred, Jacob & William
Koontz, deceased. Surviving brothers & sisters - Bettie Shuler of near Shenandoah, Ella
Strole of Stanley, Charles Foltz of Newport, Mrs. Casper Printz of Shenandoah, C. H. Foltz
of Newport & J. Ashby Foltz of Luray. Funeral at the Brick Church near Grove Hill.

Shuler, Virginia P. (#7164/1)
formerly a resident of Harrisonburg, died Thursday night in Staunton at the King's Daughters
Hospital. She had been making her home in Washington since the death of her son, Ashleigh
Shuler. She was the widow of Noah W. Shuler, the d/o the late J. N. Liggett & sister of the
late Winfield Liggett. She is survived by one brother, R. H. Liggett of Litchfield, Ct. &
Washington. Interment in the Woodbine Cemetery in Harrisonburg, VA. Her husband died
30 odd years ago. He was a s/o Squire A. Jackson Shuler of Alma & a brother of Mrs. G. T.
Long of Luray & Mrs. Emma Sutphin of Washington, DC.
