2. They shall cooperate in the training field (relating to narcotics only)
in order to improve crime prevention and investigation skills of their staff
or to develop their knowledge and experience.
3. Any other areas of mutual interest agreed by the Parties.
Forms of Cooperation
Article II
The cooperation between the Parties mentioned in Article I shall be
maintained, in accordance with their national legislations, in the
following forms;
1. Exchange of information relating to offences being planned, offences
in progress or offences committed, which concerns the other Party.
2. Location and identification of persons being sought by the Law
Enforcement Agencies.
3. Location, identification and examination of the objects and the
Parties involved in an incident.
4. Performing of controlled delivery.
5. Exchange of information obtained through investigations.
6. Exchange of knowledge and experience, legislative or regulatory
documents and relevant scientific and technical information.
7. Exchange of experts.
8. Organizing Joint Commission Meetings.
Procedure
Article III
The procedure for cooperation, referred to in Article I, shall be as
follows;
1. Requests for cooperation will be submitted to the following
authorities;
In fulfilling the provisions of this Agreement, Department of Anti
Smuggling and Organized Crime of the General Directorate of Security
of the Ministry of the Interior shall function as Liaison office for the
Turkish side and Ministry of Narcotics Control shall function as Liaison
Office for the Pakistani side.
2. Such requests shall be submitted in English. In case of emergency,
requests may be made orally and shall be confirmed in writing
immediately thereafter.
3. Requests shall include the following information:
