day. They are regular visitors<br />

to the world’s most prestigious<br />

concert halls and appear<br />

frequently at London’s major<br />

venues. They are committed to working with young musicians and<br />

in 20<strong>10</strong> launched the Gabrieli Young Singers’ Scheme. Gabrieli record<br />

for Paul McCreesh’s new record label Winged Lion. Their highly<br />

acclaimed recording of Berlioz’s Grande Messe des Morts will be<br />

followed by three further releases during 2012: A Song of Farewell; A<br />

Venetian Coronation; and Mendelssohn’s Elijah.<br />

Mhairi Lawson Soprano has performed with such companies as<br />

English National Opera, Les <strong>Art</strong>s Florissants, the<br />

Gabrieli Consort & Players, the Academy of<br />

Ancient Music and the Scottish Chamber<br />

Orchestra. Commercial recordings include<br />

Haydn’s Creation and many of Vivaldi’s works<br />

with La Serenissima. Forthcoming CD releases<br />

include Schubert Lieder. Recent and future<br />

highlights include Galatea in Acis and Galatea,<br />

Iphis in Jephtha, and The Creation (Gabrieli<br />

Consort & Players/McCreesh); Dorinda in<br />

Orlando and Vivaldi’s L’Olimpiade; recitals in the Belfast Festival and<br />

Brighton Early Music Festival; Bach Magnificat; Haydn’s The Seasons;<br />

Handel’s Ottone and Couperin’s Trois Leçons de ténèbres in a<br />

European tour (The King’s Consort).<br />

Paula Chateauneuf Lutenist is a soloist,<br />

accompanist, teacher and linchpin of numerous<br />

early music groups and has earned her<br />

reputation as one of the most respected and<br />

admired musicians in early music. She has been<br />

involved in pioneering work with the groups<br />

Circa 1500, Sinfonye, the New London Consort,<br />

and the Gabrieli Consort & Players, whose<br />

principal lutenist she remains to this day. Her<br />

playing has been described as one of the most<br />

exciting things on the pre-classical concert<br />

circuit; her interest in improvisation, dance music, and basso<br />

continuo has led to a diverse career. She is a sought after accompanist<br />

for leading singers and international opera houses and has
