Plymouth Salem tied <strong>for</strong> first with Rocks bow to Andover By THOMAS ZAIBEK Special Writer The Plymouth Salem JV football team lost its final game of the season, 24-6 to Bloomfield Hills Andover Andover scored two quick touch downs in the first quarter, one in the second and one in the third quarter The only Salem score came in the second quarter on a 70yard run by John Lewelling. The Rocks Junior Varsity ended the season with five wins and three losses. The Rocks held one league record in the 200-yard freestyle by Marion Stanwood at 2:11. She broke her own record taking first at 2:03 2 <strong>for</strong> a new league record Salems results at the Suburban 8 championships are 200 individual medley. The Chief swimmers finished their season with an overall record of 1-12 This didn't discourage the Chiefs in any way This young squad, mostly freshmen, improved their individual time with every meet and set manyvarsity records this season.
