Mrs. Sterner has served as a Red Cross volunteer for 12 years. She also has served in its blood program and on the board of directors of the southeastern Michigan chapter. Rouge Valley engineers elect 1975-76 officers Leonard W Bell of Plymouth has been elected president of the Rouge Valley Chapter, Michigan Society of FYofesxfonal Engineers. Gregory W. bean, also of Plymouth, was named secretary 1 Three Livonians were chosen for other offices. Lloyd S. Hughes was elected treasurer, and Stanley J. Garner and Robert M. Hay were picked to be chapter directors. Jaldhar Prasad of Westland Ls the new community affairs chairman. Paul N. Rick of Plymouth Ls professional development chairman, and Pa trick J Smithbauer, also of Plymouth, will serve as Engineers Week chairman. The Rouge Valley chapter is one of 22 in the Michigan Society and one of 541 nationally. The National Society of Professional Engineers numbers more than 70,000 Membership is comprised primarily of professional engineers who are government licensed and registered and are the only engineers who can utilize the initials P.E. following their names. The Rouge Valley chapter usually holds its monthly meetings at the Hillside Inn in Plymouth, Madonna sets 2 open houses "Career Close-Up" is the theme of open houses at Madonna College scheduled for potential students on Sunday.
