SF6 as insulating- and
quenching medium
The quenching arc takes place in separate, hermetically
sealed arcing chambers. That means the quenching
medium and the insulating medium are arranged in separate
sections, independent from each other. The full
switching capacity is always guaranteed.
Pluggable cones with
highest safety
VSS
≤ 24kV
The cones for the cable connection or switchgear extension
are made of reinforced cycloalyphatic exposy
resin. An electrode for capacitive coupling is embedded
in the epoxy resin, arranged in parallel to the live
part of the bushing. By using high-quality exposy resins
and latest cast-iron technology, a maximum possible
safety is guaranteed regarding the insulation strength
of the dielectric and the protection against accidental
contacts.
