2012-2013 Salary Schedules - Fayette County Public Schools

Continuing Education Credit, License Upgrades, Program Certificates:
Documentation for all areas listed below must be received during the current school year and the pay increase
will be effective as of the date of completion on the document.
Administrative Support Personnel – Administrative Support personnel may be eligible to receive pay level increases
through the following programs.
o Certified Educational Office Employee (CEOE) certificate issued through the Professional Standards Program of
the National Association of Educational Office Professionals.
1 level for Associate Professional
2 levels for Advanced II
3 levels for Advanced III
4 levels for completion of the CEOE
o University of Kentucky, Gatton College of Business & Economics Certificate in Business Administration Program -
1 level of credit.
o Microsoft Office Specialist or Microsoft Certified Application Specialist -1 level of credit.
Automotive Maintenance Personnel – Automotive maintenance personnel may be eligible to receive pay level
increases by working towards their Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification. Certification must be maintained in
order to remain eligible for certification credit. Credit is earned as follows:
o 1 level for successful completion of 1-2 tests;
o 2 levels for successful completion of 3 tests;
o 3 levels for successful completion of 5 tests.
Para Educator Personnel – Para Educator personnel are eligible to receive pay level increases through the following
programs. Certification must be maintained in order to remain eligible for certification credit.
o Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate- 1 level
o Bluegrass Career and Technical College Para educator Certification Program-1 level
Food Service Personnel – Food service employees are eligible to receive pay level increases for the following program
and certification must be maintained to remain eligible for credit.
o American School Food Service Association Certification Program -1 level
Technology Personnel – Technology employees are eligible to receive a pay level increase for the following:
o A+ certification;
o Network + Certification;
o Telephony Certification;
o Certified Software Manager;
o Microsoft Certified Professional;
o Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE);
o Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS);
o Microsoft Certified IP Professional;
o Microsoft Certified Professional Developer; Certified Technology Expert (NCTE);
o Certified Design Expert (NCDE);
o Certified Support Expert (NCSE);
o Microsoft Certified Master Certifications;
o Nortel Certified Architect (NCA).
Maintenance Personnel – Maintenance employees are eligible to receive pay level increases through the following
license upgrades. Certification must be maintained in order to remain eligible for credit:
o 1 level for a craft Apprentice License and 2 years of verifiable craft experience
