There shall he three separate trials of ploughs :<br />

one for <strong>the</strong> Tide-water, one for <strong>the</strong> Piedmont,<br />

<strong>and</strong> one for <strong>the</strong> Trans-montane section of <strong>the</strong><br />

State. These trials shall be held ^respectively,<br />

after due public notice, at such times <strong>and</strong> places<br />

as shall be appointed by <strong>the</strong> chairman of <strong>the</strong><br />

Committee of Award for <strong>the</strong> section in which<br />

<strong>the</strong> trial is <strong>to</strong> be made.<br />

The judges will award <strong>the</strong> premiums oflered.<br />

only <strong>to</strong> such implements as may be deemed<br />

fully worthy of that distinction.<br />

The relative merits of all <strong>the</strong> ploughs submitted<br />

for trial shall be tested upon each of <strong>the</strong><br />

several points contained in <strong>the</strong> following scale,<br />

<strong>and</strong> full report <strong>the</strong>reof shall be made <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Executive<br />

Committee.<br />
