THE FUTURE
This section is meant to explore the nightmarish reality
Lily enters at the end of the play when the Skriker forces
her to confront her great granddaughter. What will our
world look like if we continue to carelessly destroy the
environment? The dead babies and lost children
throughout the play are the representation of the future
destroyed !! will we learn from their warnings? Will we
realize too late, like Lily, that things are not what they
seem?
Although Lily steps up to sacrifice herself for the good of
the future, the play tells us Lily is not enough. She
crumbles to dust, just like our world will, if we do not take
a united stand soon.

raise a child.
