In the 1st half of 2012, the Company’s net asset value is 2.9 times the value of its authorized capital. Such a big difference between the Company’s net asset value and its authorized capital proves the Company’s high financial soundness. The decrease in the indicator on the 1st half of 2011 is due to a reduction in equity, primarily because of a lower value of shares in 2011 (financial investments in subsidiaries and dependent companies) in connection with the recognition of the adjustment at current market value in the financial statements. The analysis of indicators such as “Debt to equity ratio,” “Long-term debt to long-term debt plus equity,” and “Debt covered by current income (profit)” shows extremely low dependence of the Company on borrowings, implying low credit risk. A slight rise in the indicators “Debt to equity ratio” and “Long-term debt to long-term debt plus equity” in the 1st half of 2012 is due to, on the one hand, increased short-term accounts payable and, on the other hand, decreased equity resulting from the revaluation of shares. In the 1st half of 2012, accounts payable totaled 551.4 million rubles, or 1.5 times as much as in the 1st half of 2011 (372 million rubles). Equity in the 1st half of 2012 was 142.9 billion rubles, or a 29% less than in the 1st half of 2011 (201.3 billion rubles). The share of overdue accounts payable is extremely low and, in the 1st half of 2012, is 2.96%. The Company has neither loans nor advances. The values of the indicator “Debt covered by current income (profit)” are negative in the period under review. This means that all of the Company’s current liabilities are fully covered by its available cash and shortterm financial investments. Overall, the financial and economic performance indicators of the Company for the 1st half of 2012 compared with the 1st half of 2011 were impacted by the following factors: · a decrease of 58.4 billion rubles in equity value (29%); · an increase of 140.2 million rubles in the Company’s short-term liabilities (1.4-fold); · an increase of 5.6 billion rubles in cash and short-term financial investments (1.8fold); · a decrease of 1.13 billion rubles in the Company’s accounts receivable (18%). 12
· a decrease in the Company’s business profitability (the Company made a profit of 2.4 billion rubles the 1st half of 2011 against a profit of 2.3 billion rubles in the 1st half of 2012). 2.2.
