River. Those who are seen in the Mu Tianzi Zhuan may be a branch of that people that moved

2.8 “壬午,天子北征,東還。甲申,至于黑水,西膜之所謂鴻鷺。于是降雨七日。
天子畱骨六師之屬。天子乃封長肱于黑水之西河。是惟鴻鷺之上,以爲周室主。是曰畱骨
之邦”。黑水,當卽科布多河。 59 畱骨之邦或在該河流域。

called the river Honglu. It rained for seven days, and the Son of Heaven stopped to wait for the

□氏所守群玉之山,當在沙扎海泊之西、科布多河北岸。

defended.” “Mount Qunyu” which the Rong[…] had defended must have been on the northern
bank of the Qubdu River, to the west of the Saγajaγai Nor.

在群玉之山西北。
