The name of this western region was Mao Yuan (Garden of Prosperity).” Mount Ku may be a
mountain at the western end of the Altai Mountains.
2.15 “丁巳,天子西征。己未,宿于黄鼠之山”。黃鼠之山,阿爾泰山西端某山。

The above describes the journey of the Son of Heaven when he traveled north to the
