Started in Life Sciences R&D at
Pollards Wood in 1988. Moved
to B22U and stayed through the
Amersham Pharmacia days but left
before it became GE. Worked on all
aspects of non-radioactive DNA, RNA
and protein detection and related products. Joined
Oxford Immunotec Ltd in 2004 (T cell based diagnostics); performed
a number of roles and I am currently in charge of both clinical trials
and all aspects of IP. Added 1 child (yes, that makes 9) and 2 (soon
to be 3) grandchildren to the family since leaving Amersham.
Ian Hesslewood
I joined in September 1974 and left in October
2009 so just got my 35 years in. Most recently
worked in the IP/patents group.
Jackie Green
I worked at Amersham International/GE for 20
years, and my last role was in Strategic Planning
at Pollards Wood. For the past 4+ years I have
been working at Janssen Cilag/Johnson & Johnson
as Senior Clinical Trials Administrator specialising
in Oncology.
Jacob Testdorpf
Joined Amersham Pharmacia Biotech, Germany, in January 1999
through the Molecular Dynamics acquisition as a sales specialist.
Worked in regional and global marketing roles relating to imaging
(Typhoon, DIGE, micro arrays, PCI, IN Cell) from 2000, and then 2005
– 2008 in Amersham Place and Pollards Wood, UK. Now working at
PerkinElmer as Director High Content Instruments and Applications,
based in Hamburg, since 10/2010. Father of twins.
Jacqy Frost
Worked at Amersham from 1989 – Sept 2004 in Legal Services,
mainly trademarks and copyright. I am now retired spending my time
travelling quite a lot (just been to the Caribbean); go to art classes;
nterior design course; learning Italian and Spanish; and baby sitting.
