Iblis ٌ٤ِثا<br />

The Jinn who disobeyed Allah Ta'ala and was expelled from<br />

His mercy. It was Iblis who tempted Adam and his wife<br />

Hawwa (Eve), peace be on them, to approach the forbidden<br />

tree. He is also known as Shaitan (Satan). See Shaitan . See<br />

Holy Qur' an, Al-Baqara (2):30-39.<br />

Ibrahim, peace be upon him ّلاَُا ٚ٤ِػ ْ٤ٛاوثا<br />

"Abraham". He was a messenger, as well as one <strong>of</strong> the greatest<br />

prophets <strong>of</strong> Islam. He was the father <strong>of</strong> two other great<br />

prophets, Ismail and Ishaq (Ishmael and Isaac respectively). All<br />

the prophets who came after him were descended from him,<br />
