<strong>of</strong> the Ottomans, their chiefs represented a source <strong>of</strong> trouble<br />
and disturbance until Muhammad `Ali eliminated them at the<br />
Massacre <strong>of</strong> the Citadel (1811 A.D.) Although their era was<br />
famous for its political anarchy, they left behind important<br />
architectural monuments including mosques, schools, and<br />
hospices, particularly in Cairo.<br />

Manasik General sacrifice يٍب٘ٓ<br />
General sacrifice in the path <strong>of</strong> Allah Ta'ala. All deeds and<br />
actions during the Hajj are regarded as Manasik, for they are<br />
indeed regarded as sacrifices in the path <strong>of</strong> Allah.<br />

Abrogated. The abrogation <strong>of</strong> certain commands usually came<br />
with increased belief or a change in situation. Only Allah<br />
Ta'ala has the power to abrogate verses <strong>of</strong> the Holy Qur'an. An<br />
example <strong>of</strong> an abrogated statement is: "...wa in too bdu ma fee<br />
anfooseekum aw too khfoohu youhasibkumbihi Allah..."(Al-<br />
Baqara (2):284), "...whether you show what is in your mind or<br />
conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it...". When the<br />
Muslims heard this Ayah they went to Muhammad, may Allah<br />
bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Rasoolullah, we<br />
can control ourselves, but how can we control the outbursts in<br />
