Ms. Breslin’s research examines the chronic inflammation
mechanism — whether excess adipose tissue is linked with the
elevated levels of C-reactive protein associated with physical dis-
on the relationships among obesity, C-reactive protein, and dis-
ability and will involve preliminary data analysis from the National
Social Life Health and Aging Project. The project will result in a
brief paper.
