When analyzing Figure 9, increasing the IL alkyl chain length it decreases the solubility of<br />
water in ILs and vice-versa. Indeed, these results are consistent with the experimental data<br />
previously reported 35, 41 .<br />
The difference in the mutual solubilities between water and different ILs isomers<br />
([C2C2im][Tf2N], [C3mim][Tf2N], [C4C1mim][Tf2N] and [C5mim][Tf2N]) is shown in<br />
Figure 10.<br />
