Safety<br />

All w<strong>or</strong>k concerned with High Temperature Hot Water (<strong>HTHW</strong>) supply installation<br />

MUST only be perf<strong>or</strong>med by skilled and qualified technical personnel. The cus<strong>to</strong>mer<br />

is always responsible f<strong>or</strong> ensuring the suitability of the technical personnel.<br />

Please observe the local regulations concerning the provision of steam and/<strong>or</strong> hot<br />

water installations.<br />

All w<strong>or</strong>k concerned with electrical installation MUST only be perf<strong>or</strong>med by skilled and<br />

qualified technical personnel (eg electrician <strong>or</strong> technician with appropriate training).<br />

The cus<strong>to</strong>mer is always responsible f<strong>or</strong> ensuring the suitability of the technical<br />

personnel.<br />

Please observe the local regulations concerning the provision of electrical<br />

installations.<br />

NEP has considered aspects of the design of their humidification systems <strong>to</strong> reduce<br />

as far as possible the risk of Legionnaires’ disease and other similar conditions but it<br />

is imp<strong>or</strong>tant that users are also aware of their responsibilities.<br />

To prevent the growth of Legionella, users are required <strong>to</strong>:<br />

Avoid water temperature that favours the growth of Legionella (20-45˚C).<br />

Avoid water stagnation.<br />

Clean and disinfect the humidification system.<br />

Carry out a risk assessment of the water system supplying the humidifier by<br />

a competent person, <strong>to</strong> ensure the water supply is of an acceptable quality<br />

CORRECT USE Neptronic® systems and products are designed only f<strong>or</strong> use of humidification.<br />

Any other application is not considered use f<strong>or</strong> the intended purpose. The<br />

manufacturer cannot be made liable f<strong>or</strong> any damage resulting from inc<strong>or</strong>rect use.<br />

ACCESS NEVER LEAVE <strong>SKS</strong> CABINET WITH DOOR TO ELECTRICAL PANEL OPEN AS<br />

LIVE ELECTRICAL PARTS MAY BE GAINED.<br />

WATER Neptronic® systems are designed <strong>to</strong> be used with mains, reverse osmosis, de<br />

mineralized <strong>or</strong> partially softened water. On no account attempt <strong>to</strong> introduce any other<br />

fluid <strong>or</strong> chemical in<strong>to</strong> the system without first consulting NEP <strong>or</strong> its auth<strong>or</strong>ized<br />

distribut<strong>or</strong>.<br />

Water supply must not exceed the max pressure of 480 kPa <strong>or</strong> pressure limits laid<br />

out in the specification and installation should comply with local regulations.
