Smoking<br />
Graduation venues are non-smoking venues. Also, please do not smoke while wearing hired academic attire -<br />
even if you are in a designated smoking area.<br />
Mobile phones<br />
Please switch off your mobile phone when entering the graduation hall.<br />
Food<br />
Food or beverages are not permitted in the hall.<br />
Bags<br />
Handbags and bags may not be taken to the stage. These should be left under your seat or left with one of your guests.<br />
Photography<br />
The official photographer will be available two hours before the ceremony and two hours after the ceremony to<br />
take photos of you and your guests. Order forms are available at their stalls in the foyer.<br />
You are not obliged to order any photographs taken during the ceremony. However, should you use this service,<br />
you do so at your own risk. The university will not accept responsibility for any service-related complaints.<br />
Details of the officially appointed photographer at your graduation ceremony will be available on the <strong>Unisa</strong><br />
website and in your graduation pack.<br />
Please be wary of individuals wandering on the premises outside the hall claiming to be official photographers.<br />
The officially appointed photographer and his or her staff will be inside the hall.<br />
Graduation DVD (Pretoria only)<br />
A DVD of the graduation ceremony (Pretoria venue only) will be made available at a cost of R150,00 per copy.<br />
Please place your order at the relevant counter on the day of your graduation ceremony.
