essential to assessment <strong>of</strong> the safety <strong>of</strong> the dam should be<br />
listed, together with an opinion about the urgency <strong>of</strong> such<br />
additional work.<br />
5.3.6 Possible remedial measures or revisions in operating and<br />
maintenance procedures which may (subject to further<br />
evaluation) correct deficiencies and hazardous conditions<br />
found during the investigations.<br />
5.4 Phase – II Report<br />
5.4.1 Phase II investigations which are supplementary to Phase I<br />
investigation are conducted when the results <strong>of</strong> the Phase I<br />
investigations indicate the need <strong>for</strong> additional in-depth<br />
studies, investigations or analysis.<br />
5.4.2 Phase II report should describe the detailed investigations and<br />
should supplement Phase I report. They should contain the<br />
following in<strong>for</strong>mation:<br />
5.4.2.1 Summary <strong>of</strong> additional engineering data obtained to determine<br />
the hydraulic and hydrologic capabilities and / or structural<br />
stability.<br />
5.4.2.2 Results <strong>of</strong> all additional studies, investigations and analyses<br />
per<strong>for</strong>med.<br />
5.4.2.3 Technical assessment <strong>of</strong> dam safety, including deficiencies and<br />
hazardous conditions found to exist.<br />
5.4.2.4 Indicate alternative possible remedial measures or revision in<br />
maintenance and operating procedures, which my (subject to<br />
further evaluation), correct deficiencies and hazardous<br />
conditions found during the investigation.<br />
