2 CHAIRMAN: Mr. Kennedy, I think what Mr. McGlynn, to be fair to Mr. McGlynn, my
3 understanding of what he said was that his recollection was that they were
4 separate representations which were much of the same wording but possibly with
5 slight differences.
6 A That's correct. That's what I did say. I did not say I saw them.

8 MR. KENNEDY: How could you say that, Chairman, if he didn't see them.

10 CHAIRMAN: Well explain, but I'm making clear what he said earlier. I didn't
11 understand him to say he was now speaking from a clear recollection of having
12 seen each of them, but that his recollection generally was that they were but
13 he can explain, you might just explain the extent or the degree of knowledge
14 that you had as to what you recollect.
15 A Just in relation to those, the -- when I spoke to Miss Dillon I was giving a
16 view what I thought they would be, I would be reasonably happy in my own mind
17 from memory and from experience that that would have been the format they took.

19 Q 77 MR. KENNEDY: This is experience of other objections, to do with something
20 completely different, is it?
21 A The generality of objections in relation to, sort of, most of the business we
22 conducted at planning tends to be --

24 that you actually saw these representations?
25 A I have never seen them.

27 A No.
28 Q 80 That's, in fact, what you said when you were cross-examined, you didn't
