These can be for earthings, return currents etc. The box is constructed in such a way that the impacting force of vehicles is transferred directly on to the rail, which means that concrete embedding as with the light KAGO boxes is no longer necessary. Version short One can choose between a short (flush with the rail base) and a long version (approx. 10 cm under the rail base), depending on space conditions and the cable laying concept. The cable can be supplied from all sides and from beneath, the long version even allows the cables to pass under the track. The openings for the cable protection pipes are dimensioned in such a way that a subsequent addition or replacement of cables is ensured at any time. There is generous space within the box, so that the cable connection work is made a lot easier. In order to prevent stray currents the box is furthermore available in an insulated version for D.C. railways.
