A file of more than the maximum number of lines (see LIMITS) was given to diff.<br />

LIMITS<br />

The longest input line is 8192 on Windows and most UNIX systems. -h, files are limited to<br />

INT_MAX lines.<br />

The -D, -H, -h, -i, -m, -n, -s, and -w options; the n argument to the -c option; and the diffh<br />

and bdiff versions of the <strong>com</strong>mand are extensions to the POSIX and x/OPEN standard. The -f<br />

option is an x/OPEN extension to the POSIX standard.<br />
