2 Define the required fields as follows:
In the Object code field, object codes for files must begin with a dot (.), and can
have a trailing character string. An object code for a directory must have a unique
object code that begins with a backward slash (\). If the directory name has an
extension, define the object code with a backward slash followed by a dot and the
extension, for example, the object code for directory DIR.ONE is \.ONE.
In the Description field, type a description for the object code.
In the Activity flag field, type 1 to activate the object code. Use option 2 to deactivate
the object code. Object codes must be active to use them in Implementer.
In the Creation sequence field, specify a number from 1–9999 to identify the order of
creation for this type of object (does not have to be unique per object code). IFS
object codes created by Implementer during check out or create request have
creation sequence 8000. IFS files have creation sequence 8010.
In the Special characteristics field, type PCFILE for a file or PCDIR for a directory.
NOTE The Archive in MKS Source field defaults to Y for PCFILE or N for PCDIR.
3 Press ENTER to save the changes.
Object Codes for Setting a Data Area Value
Implementer provides two object codes that allow you to populate a target data area value
upon promotion of the data area to the target library.

Hooray! Your file is uploaded and ready to be published.
