1 Create an Environment task. Define the following environments:<br />

Production, one production environment.<br />

Host System Scenarios<br />

Development environment, one development environment for all developers, or<br />

specific environments per developer or project.<br />

Emergency development environment, one development environment for all<br />

developers, or specific environments per developer or project.<br />

2 Create a User Profile task. Define user profiles for the following user roles:<br />

Developer checks out members/objects, performs development, creates a promotion<br />

request that targets production. Additionally compiles the promotion request in the<br />

work library.<br />

Developer with emergency capabilities checks out members/objects using Emergency<br />

Check Out, performs development, and creates an emergency promotion request<br />

that targets production. This developer compiles and moves the promotion request<br />

into the production environment and has conflict resolution capabilities.<br />

Administrator creates projects and moves the promotion request to production.<br />

Multiple Data Libraries, Identical Structures: Scenario 6<br />

Overview<br />

In this scenario, the production application has two database libraries. Both libraries have<br />

identical structures containing the same file objects, however, the data may differ between<br />

one set and the other. <strong>Implementer</strong> supports this scenario by creating two environments and<br />
