7. STAKEHOLDER INVOLVEMENT<br />

Two stakeholder meetings have been held in the previous phases <strong>of</strong> work in this study to discuss<br />

the Situational Analysis (14 June 2011) and the Draft Management Framework and Spatial<br />

Concept (29 September 2011). Further, a Reference Group was convened during November 2011<br />

and again during March 2012 to enable the refinement <strong>of</strong> the Management Framework and the<br />

Spatial Concept.<br />

A further and final stakeholder meeting will be held on 15 August 2012 to present and receive<br />

feedback on the draft final report recommendations prior to its finalisation. The report will be<br />

available for comment for a further two weeks after the final stakeholder meeting. The comment<br />

period will thus close on 31 August 2012.<br />

the final stakeholder meeting on 15 August.<br />

Stakeholders are encouraged to engage in refining the recommendations set out in this report.<br />

8. KEY QUESTIONS FOR STAKEHOLDERS<br />

In finalising the proposals and implementation recommendations for this study, the following<br />

feedback would be helpful to the team:<br />

• Are you in agreement with the proposed vision, mission and outcomes for <strong>management</strong><br />

<strong>of</strong> the UCT Forest?<br />

• What are your comments with respect to the Spatial Concept for UCT Heritage Park?<br />

• What scope exists for involvement <strong>of</strong> UCT stakeholders in realising the Heritage Park<br />

vision?<br />
