<strong>UAE</strong> Assessors Awards <strong>2010</strong><br />
Dedicated APC Assessors in the <strong>UAE</strong> were presented with trophies by former <strong>RICS</strong> President Max Crofts during<br />
a ceremony in Dubai in June.<br />
Local Assessors who contribute their time, both in the evenings, and at weekends, were thanked at the award<br />
ceremony at The Address Hotel in Dubai Marina.<br />
The awards went to:<br />
Prasanna Pushpajith - Turner Construction International - Chairman Commitment<br />
Nigel Evans - Cyril Sweett - Assessor Commitment Dubai<br />
Jayagopal Ullatil - Jacobs Gibb Ltd - Assessor Commitment Abu Dhabi<br />
Kamal Paranawithana - Halcrow - Counsellor Commitment<br />
Sangeeta Luthria, <strong>RICS</strong> MENEA Membership Manager commented on the award winners.<br />
“It is essential to recognise and reward the time and effort volunteered by counsellors and assessors, while they<br />
themselves are meeting targets and facing challenges in the face of the global crisis.”<br />
“If it wasn’t for the continued support of the active assessors, conducting interviews would be impossible. <strong>RICS</strong><br />
would like to thank all active Assessors for their continuing commitment to the APC process.”<br />
