Recycled Books Paper Crafts
Thursday, Aug. 8 | 3–4pm

Turn the written word
into visual art! Crafter
Melanie will instruct
the class in making
handmade flowers
and other paper crafts
using the pages of
recycled books. These
lovely crafts are simple to make and can
be used as many forms of decorations,
including centerpieces and gift bows.
Please bring scissors.
Keeping Chickens

Now that backyard chickens are street–
legal in Chelsea, many are considering
constructing a coop and filling it up!
Long–time chicken–keeper Allison will
discuss the benefits and challenges of
raising chickens, and give advice for how
to get the most out of the experience.
All participants will be entered to win a
dozen eggs from Allison’s chickens.
